The "dog days" of summer are approaching...

...but in the meantime, EVERY day is a dog day at Decatur CD. Indeed, in case you didn't already know, we encourage you to bring your fuzzy little freaks in here. Frankly, we enjoy them. And, since we've already proven our track record at documenting cute things that have anything vaguely to do with DCD, there is a chance your pup will even make it onto the blog.

On that note, meet the most adorable dog we've ever seen in our lives. Seriously, our faces just exploded looking at the little thing again. He belongs to Richard Parsons, his name is Elvis and Warren fell in love with him recently. Austin thinks he looks like a "blue-eyed gremlin," but he swears he meant that as a compliment. At any rate, enjoy the photos and bring your furry best friend by the store soon.

Blake Guthrie and Nicole Chillemi make their world premiere on stage together...covering Tom Waits, no less! We were honored to witness their first collaborative performance.

That's a nice rifle you're sporting, but it sure don't beat our Pistolero.

And then there's Warren. After a full day of Record Storing, he likes to dress up in receipt tape and dance around all by his lonesome. This time we caught it on camera.

Our birthday celebration has begun. On Thursday night, Richard Parsons made his triumphant return to the DCD stage. And last night, Georgia Fireflies performed for a semi-rowdy Friday night crowd. Great times all around, and we've got the pictures to prove it. Don't forget that we have Romantica today at 2pm and Silver Lakes tomorrow at 4pm. And the sale and refreshments continue all weekend as well. Hope to see you soon...
