Save the Date: 3 lb. Thrill In-Store, Feb. 25
On February 25th, we're proudly hosting 3 Lb. Thrill. Originally known as Uncle Green when they first formed in New Jersey in 1980, the trio relocated to Atlanta early in their career, working with local legends like Brendan O'Brien and the Indigo Girls. They've put out records with DB and Atlantic, and toured with the likes of Ben Folds Five, Robyn Hitchcock and the Black Crowes. Late last year, they successfully used Kickstarter to fund their new record, Rycopa, which was originally recorded in a tiny house in Little Five Points in 1997. It's an excellent, poppy double-album, which we've got for $10. You should really give this thing a try. The band will play that Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm, and this is an all-ages affair, with kids encouraged! The release party for Rycopa will go down later that evening at Smith's Olde Bar. Save the date!
