Decatur Book Festival 2008!
The 2008 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Decatur Book Festival
Labels: books, Decatur Book Festival, Patterson Hood
Decatur CD stands for "Decatur Compact Disc," but don't let the name fool you--we also stock tons of new and used vinyl, music-related DVDs/Blu-Rays and a smattering of cassettes. Most notably, however, we have one Travis Tritt cassingle.

This Flick shout-out is brought to you by user name a bardis. Austin in particular enjoyed this shot because it reminds him that the cool air is on the way. Plus, Bruce Springsteen is a big fan of Decatur CD. What? It's true! (Probably.)Labels: Bruce Springsteen, Flickr shout-out

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Yeah, yeah, we know, it's Monday. But it's better to just ignore that first day of the work week anyway, right? Something about a case of the Mondays... At any rate, there are a few gems coming out tomorrow, but the one we'd like to give a quick shout-out to presently is pictured above, Randall Bramblett's Now It's Tomorrow (fitting title, considering our early-week state of mind, ha!). Randall will be performing here in the store tomorrow at 6pm to celebrate his album release, so don't miss out. But we'll be typing a little more about that later tonight. For now, this week's releases:Labels: new releases, Randall Bramblett
A couple weeks ago, Paste editor-in-chief Josh Jackson said some nice things about Decatur CD on the magazine's site. He also posted a touching letter from one of loyal regulars, Bruce. Our hearty thanks go out to both Josh and Bruce. You can read the post here.Labels: Paste, shameless self-promotion
