Decatur CD stands for "Decatur Compact Disc," but don't let the name fool you--we also stock tons of new and used vinyl, music-related DVDs/Blu-Rays and a smattering of cassettes. Most notably, however, we have one Travis Tritt cassingle.

Many of you are no doubt fans of The Supersuckers. The Arizona cow punks have released several albums, many of them on the venerable Sub Pop. Well, the band's frontman/bassist, Eddie Spaghetti, recently released his third album, Sundowner, on the also-venerable Bloodshot. Spaghetti's coming to town for a pair of back-to-back shows with our friends at Smith's Olde Bar, and on Saturday, March 26th at 2pm, he'll take to the DCD stage. Meanwhile, Atlanta institution Fox Brothers will be dropping off some beef brisket sliders, brisket taquitos and smoked wings around 1pm that afternoon. Don't know about you, dear reader, but our mouths are watering just typing those words. We'll also have some beer for the 21+ set. And remember, just like all Decatur CD events, everything on Saturday is FREE. See you then.Labels: Eddie Spaghetti, food, Fox Brothers, free beer, in-store performance, The Supersuckers
Kind of a slower week, but there are definitely some gems to be had. You know the drill. Check it out:Labels: new releases
Indeed, that inexplicably foggy and poorly cropped off-kilter photo above—our staff photographer has been sacked, thankyouverymuch—depicts the live Mastodon album cover 5X5 on the wall of our premises. Not bad, right? (Kidding! It's bad.) But the album is good! So are many of the other new releases below. Have a look and, as usual, let us know what you need.Labels: new releases
Funny how time gets away from us when we're not careful. This week is one of those weeks. As such, here are a couple batches of new releases. Let us know what you're looking for:Labels: new releases
