Atlanta Mess-Around Turns Five

It's almost that time of year again—time to gorge ourselves on punk rock for two full days. Oh yes, friends: the Atlanta Mess-Around will be here in a couple weeks. Not only that, but the scrappy EAV fest is turning five this year! We can only assume that means there'll be cake served up on unplayable, scratched-up Killed By Death comps. But birthday treats or no, there are tons of great bands coming to town. Los Vigilantes, Apache Dropout, Parting Gifts, The Ettes, Mean Jeans, the list goes on an on, and includes local folks like Turf War, Ghost Bikini and the newly-minted GHB. The whole thing is capped by what will once again be a delightful, hangover-curing dunch set from Greg Cartwright at The EARL. We'll be there. Will you?
