Kentucky Derby recap

Our Kentucky Derby weekend was so much fun that we forgot to tell you about it, aside from the third place ending for our faithful stallion, Steppenwolfer. As you can see from the above photo, we had some friends in town. On the left is bartender extraordinaire, Patrick Grueber, and on the right, Luka Bloom, who played the Five Spot last Friday.

Speaking of bartending, Patrick served up some of the finest mint juleps ever. Customer after customer commented on how great the mixture was, some even saying it tasted better than expensive ones they had had before coming in to the store.
