Enjoy a Decatur CD mint julep.

This Saturday marks a lovely annual tradition known as the Kentucky Derby. Never ones for turning down a chance at a little party, your friends at Decatur CD are planning a festive event for the afternoon. Stop by the store from 2pm-6pm to enjoy some mint juleps and Girl Scout cookies. There will also be plenty of sale merchandise in the store, and the derby will be on the television. Hope to see you all then.

Is there really any confusion about which state is the best? Didn't think so.

P.S. Large flag hats rule.

I got married on Derby Day in 1984 and I realized how much my wife's Louisville family liked her when they came up to New Jersey for the wedding (they have a box at Churchill Downs). I went to the Derby in 1989 and it friggin' sleeted.
