Apocalypse Jukebox/27s photos
A week or so back, we were pleased to have the authors of Apocalypse Jukebox and The 27s here in the store, reading from their impressive tomes and taking questions from customers as we all enjoyed some fine beverages and the company of each other during Decatur's Art Walk. My friend and I were recently talking about how technology has become so integrated in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory falls, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about every once in a while.
