Vanity Fair profiles Sylvester Stewart
Above: One of 14 shots from the VF slideshowThere was a fascinating -not to mention, super lengthy- article on Sly Stone in a recent Vanity Fair. The timing is pretty sweet as far as we're concerned, considering the recently released box set of his material (and its crazy-affordable single-disc reissue counterparts). He's such a mysterious and wonderful artist, and it's great to see someone attempt to get to the bottom of his elusive legacy.
"Will Sly show up?" the piece begins. "I sure hope so. I have an appointment with him. I've flown across the country and quadruple-checked to make sure we're still on."

We definitely have the new Spoon album (which is great!), but unfortunately, we're all out of EPs.
i bought the spoon album there yesterday evening, and it had an EP in it.
The Security Chicken stands corrected!
i have heard rumor of complimentary vinyls with purchase...
but, i am satisfied.
